As a CAD veteran, from ACAD2.6 all the way to ACAD2007, has been looking forward to the emergence of domestic CAD platform software. In 2001, Zhongwang Company launched its own Zhongwang CAD platform software. Encouraged by the great success of Zhongwang Company, after 2004, several other related companies in China also launched similar products. The domestic cad software also turned into a situation of several contends from the monologue of Zhongwang CAD software. This is a good thing for domestic customers.

After repeatedly using several domestic CAD platforms, I gradually realized that even if the technical routes are similar, the five-year software and the two-year software are different in terms of release time theory. Due to my admiration for Zhongwang CAD software, in the following articles, the names of other domestic cad companies are not mentioned, and only "other domestic cad software" is replaced. I will analyze it from the four most common features, this time for the first: Auto Tracking System.

The "Automatic Tracking System" added functionality to ACAD2000, which was sensational when it was launched, because the functionality that was previously available in workstation software was first ported to PC-level software. Once launched, this feature immediately became the designer's favorite, making the designer's sketch design concept possible, minimizing keyboard input, making drawing faster and more accurate.

In March 2006, Zhongwang CAD began to introduce the polar axis tracking function. After 5 months, other domestic CAD software also launched similar functions. The same version is released, and the author made a detailed comparison.

1. The first is a trial of some of the basic functions of polar tracking and object capture tracking. The implementation of these basic functions is the key to supporting the entire tracking system, even a simple shortcut, or an inconspicuous decimal point.

Zhongwang CAD2006 and AutoCAD2006 follow the rigorous style and perform well in these basic tests. Other domestic software has some minor problems in this part of the test.

In practice, sophisticated drawings often require tracking to an angle of a few decimal places. This is also a basic requirement for a good automatic tracking system. It can be seen that in the accurate digit test of the tracking angle, Zhongwang CAD2006 and AutoCAD2006 both show better flexibility, and the user's fine requirements are deepened; while other domestic softwares grasp the customer's needs and software functions. The understanding needs to be further refined and improved.

2, the basic test can only verify the possibility of the software's automatic tracking system, the real work has to rely on powerful functions to achieve, then, we will further explore the advanced applications of automatic tracking.

Object capture tracking is extremely versatile and it is important to be able to use it in all situations. If the line drawing command is started (the first point has not been picked up), the object capture tracking is performed directly.

In other cases, other domestic software cannot perform object capture tracking normally, and only captures the midpoint. It can only be used normally after picking up the first point, which is a bit small.

This is the most basic application in object capture tracking. Unfortunately, not all test software can implement these most basic applications.

In the object capture tracking system, Zhongwang CAD2006 and AutoCAD2006 allow users to have up to 7 temporary tracking points, as shown in the small cross in the following figure:

The user can not only set the existing object point to temporary tracking through object capture, but also the powerful automatic tracking system allows the user to specify any point as a temporary tracking point through the transparent command "tt" during command execution.

The transparent use of the temporary tracking point “tt” has always been realized only by the high-end automatic tracking system. Zhongwang CAD2006 and AutoCAD2006 have jointly demonstrated the style of everyone, and also marked that the domestic software represented by Zhongwang has shouldered the world's top CAD quality.

3, a perfect automatic tracking system is inseparable from the support and complement of a powerful object capture system.

  The extended capture, parallel capture and capture functions complement the automatic tracking system, providing customers with a more powerful capture and tracking system that greatly enhances user productivity.

From the above comparison results, other similar domestic software can not easily achieve the comprehensive use of the capture system and the automatic tracking system as the above two software.

As one of the most commonly used functions, the "automatic tracking system" (including polar tracking and object capture tracking) involves various processes of drawing. The level of detail of this function affects the stability of the drawing efficiency software. The author noticed that in the test process, Zhongwang only showed hysteresis on the particularly large drawings, while other domestic cad platforms frequently experienced the phenomenon of “loss of response” and even system crash.

As can be seen from the above comparison, in the "automatic tracking" function that users value very much, Zhongwang CAD has basically reached the practical level, and can be used freely in a variety of complex environments, but the tracking efficiency of the large image is compared with AUTOCAD. There is still a certain gap. The depth of development of other domestic software is obviously insufficient. At present, this function is only "have", but there is still a long way to go before it is practical.

In fact, it is very difficult for domestic CAD platform to challenge Autocad's hegemony in China. The author is very optimistic about the domestic CAD platform software. To seriously compare the differences of domestic platforms, I hope that the domestic cad platform enterprises will progress faster. After all, it is Looking at a market alone is not the best for customers, but domestic CAD platform companies must calm down, let go of all impetuousness, increase development efforts, and develop products that truly satisfy customers, rather than just making an immature The product is rushing to the market and going to the concept of speculation.
