Ito's work is influenced by the most important contemporary French philosopher Gilles Deleuze (1925-1995) and the Japanese philosopher Sosuke Mita, and his architectural concept is passed through Nomad. The concept of play is quite unique. He has been responsible for a number of public and private construction projects in Japan and abroad. The Sendai Media Center, established in 2001, is one of his most representative works and has a profound impact on young architects around the world. He has published and exhibited his work extensively around the world and has served as a guest lecturer at several universities.

The ancients "life is seventy years old", the 70-year-old Ito Toshiro is still very sensitive, completely unable to see the real age, a pair of white-rimmed glasses is more fashionable and energetic. He has been working for more than 40 years, and he has not been interested in architecture in his youth. He is more addicted to baseball. Perhaps because his grandfather was a timber dealer, his father liked to draw a housing plan for his friends, and how much he was influenced. When he was studying at the University of Tokyo, he began to have a strong interest in architecture. Undergraduate graduation work, Ito Toshiro submitted a reconstruction plan for Ueno Park, which won the highest award of the University of Tokyo, and brought him a lot of confidence, and then officially embarked on the road of architectural design.

Nowadays, I have reviewed the works of Idong Toshio for more than 40 years, covering residential, office buildings, parks, libraries, shopping malls, theaters and many other types, all of which are very distinctive. As stated by the Pritzker jury, he has created a number of buildings that combine conceptual innovation with exquisite construction. The work not only covers different functions, but also contains a rich architectural language. His architectural form is neither dependent on minimalism nor on parametric design. Ito Toshiro does not compromise Western designers and architectural ideas, nor does he blindly recognize architects who are more famous in Japan than him. Instead, he has his own thoughts and clearly rejects styles. Some ideas are even opposed to the West. Each of his works is unique but unrelated, and it is completely invisible to be from the same architect. In addition to being too low-key, the Pritzker Architecture Prize has been neglected for a long, long period of time, and the industry once called for it. After finally welcoming the honor, Yidong Fengxiong said: "Architecture is bound by various factors of society. When I was engaged in architectural design, I always remembered: If we can get rid of all these restrictions, even if it is a point, Designing a more comfortable space. However, when a building is completed, I will be painfully aware of my own shortcomings, but it will turn into the driving force for me to challenge the next project. Therefore, this process may continue to be repeated in the future. ""
