The following methods can be used to prevent excessive lead:

● Children should develop a good habit of washing their hands frequently, paying particular attention to washing their hands before eating.

● Pediatrics should be used to cut nails. Fingernail seams are particularly vulnerable to hiding lead dust.

● Wash children's toys and other items that may be placed in the mouth by children.

● If you are in a residential area near a busy road or near an industrial area, use a damp cloth as much as possible to remove dust from children's reach. Cover the food and the pacifier on the bottle.

● Do not take children to walk and play near roads and lead factories that have high traffic.

● Workers who are directly engaged in lead work must bathe and change clothes before returning to work before returning home. Workers who may have lead pollution in the workplace and those who work on the road all day should change their clothes and wash their hands before going off duty. Do not wash overalls with your family or children's clothes.

● Households that use coal as fuel should try to ventilate as much as possible.

● Children should eat some foods with high lead content, such as plain preserved eggs, popcorn, etc.

● When you use tap water every morning, you should open the tap for about 1-5 minutes so that the previous night will be stored in the tap water pipe. Some water that may have been contaminated by lead will be discarded (higher lead content in tap water pipe materials in the early years). Do not use tap water in the morning before cooking and formulating milk for children.

● Children should eat regularly, and the rate of absorption of lead in the intestine increases exponentially on an empty stomach.

● Ensure that children’s diet contains sufficient amounts of calcium, iron, and zinc. Calcium-rich foods include: dairy products, soy products, and animal bones. Iron-rich foods include: animal liver, animal blood, meat, eggs and so on. Zinc-rich foods include: meat, seafood (especially shellfish), etc., but also effective lead discharge.
