According to statistics, in the first 11 months of this year, the total output of plastic products in China was 67.879 million tons, an increase of 0.6%. Among them, the output in November was 6.864 million tons, down 1.2% year-on-year.
Statistics show that from January to November, China's plastic film production was 11.946 million tons, up 3.5% year-on-year; daily-use plastic products output was 5.319 million tons, up 0.3% year-on-year; foam plastic production was 2.199 million tons, up 14.7% year-on-year.
From January to November, the total output of plastics in the primary form was 70.118 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%. The production in November was 6.75 million tons, an increase of 12.3%. From January to November, the total output of automobiles was 22.237 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. The output for the month of November was 2.551 million units, an increase of 16.0% year-on-year. From January to November, the total output of ethylene was 15.738 million tons, an increase of 2.0%. The production in November was 1.459 million tons, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year.
Import aspect
From January to November, China imported 23.79 million tons of primary-shaped plastics, an increase of 3.0% year-on-year. The import value was 255.35 billion yuan, down 11.9% year-on-year. In November, the import volume was 2.1 million tons, which was flat at the same time, up 7.7% year-on-year; the import value was 21.62 billion yuan, a slight increase from the previous month.
From January to November, China imported 4.13 million tons of natural and synthetic rubber (including latex), up 12.3% year-on-year; the import value was 43.3 billion yuan, down 13.5% year-on-year. In November, the import volume was 500,000 tons, an increase of 51.5% year-on-year; the import value was 4.657 billion yuan, an increase of 16.8% from the previous month.
Export aspect
From January to November, China exported 8.79 million tons of plastic products, an increase of 1.6% compared with the same period of last year; the export value reached 211.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.5%. In November, the export of plastic products was 790,000 tons, which was flat at the same time, down 3.7% year-on-year; the export value was 210.96 billion yuan, up 6.4% from the previous month.
