PVC floor overview

Vinyl Floor/Plank vinyl floor;

LVT (luxury vinyl tile): luxury vinyl floor tiles; LVP (luxury vinyl plank): luxury vinyl floor;

WPC (wood plastic composite): wood-plastic composite material. Bamboo and wood powder are added to the formula. However, after adding bamboo and wood powder, it is difficult to process and recycle. PVC classification and process


There are two types of PVC flooring: one is homogeneous permeable flooring (semi-hard), and the other is multilayer composite flooring (hard and semi-hard).

From the morphological point of view, PVC multi-layer composite flooring is divided into coil flooring and sheet flooring; LVT and WPC flooring are semi-rigid sheet plastic flooring, and SPC (RVP) flooring is hard sheet flooring. According to the assembly method, it can be divided into: ordinary (Dry Back, installation requires glue, low price), click (click) and glue-free (Loose lay, relatively soft). At present, SPC stone plastic flooring and WPC wood plastic flooring are also in active promotion and rapid development in domestic and foreign markets.

Differences between SPC and WPC

â‘´ SPC production process is simpler, lower cost, hard product.

⑵ SPC is more stable in size, more resistant to heat and cold, and can be used for floor heating. SPC floor is suitable for indoor spaces from extremely cold (-20°C) to extremely hot (60°C). There is a risk of deformation when the WPC floor is indoor temperature below 0°C;
